The site states, “The Research in
Practice Series is a practical, easy-to-read resource, offering effective
new approaches for those challenging issues which arise in the care and
education of young children. Early Childhood Australia's Research in
Practice Series is an essential resource for those involved in the early
childhood field. The books are idea-rich and to-the-point. The Research in
Practice Series focuses on the practical, 'hands-on' aspects of early
childhood – making them ideally suited to early childhood workers. However, the
wide range of topics covered throughout the series offers something to
anyone interested in children's early years.”
I love the fact that the research
page provided book that anyone could purchase and that they are all “idea-rich,
to-the-point, and hands-on.”
Nina,
ReplyDeleteI too chose this site to preview and it was very easy to search and understand. Just as you mentioned their books are as well. I like this site, because it leans more to the younger child, which is my preference. Thank you for sharing.

Nina,
ReplyDeleteI also chose this site, I was so impressed with the longevity of Australia's focus on Early Childhood, but after reading yours and Victoria's posts I went back to the site and discovered the great resources you two discussed. This is great because at times I feel I have tapped out the resources I get stuck on, I love your description and look forward to ordering "idea rich and hands-on" books.
Thank you
Nina,
ReplyDeleteThis site is popular among the group because I chose this site also. There is a lot of information on this site that is very helpful. It covers a lot the same issues that we are facing in US and it showing we have needs in same area along dealing with some of thesame issues.
I like that this site offers it's online readers a chance to get some of the same information or an acess to other information that can be helpful in print.
